Michael LaPierre for House and Michael LaPierre for Senate were two campaigns, run in 2020-2022 in which we created a site for each campaign. The goal was to inform voters of the platform and key issues of the candidate as well as giving voters the opportunity to volunteer and donate.
Charleston Bee Company wanted a simple, seamless site that allowed users to browse their products, learn their story, view resources and make purchases. We designed them a site using WordPress & WooCommerce that allowed them to easily keep track of their sales across all devices, both online and in-person.
For both sited, the candidate had chosen platforms they thought were cost-efficient and easy to use. We built sites for them on both platforms. We do adapt to the clients preferred site platforms when they have something they prefer to use. We can build on any platform.

Political campaigns run on donations. It is imperative to have a secure donation portal, as well as an integration that allows for documenting and reporting in order to comply with FCC guidelines. Most important is the need to capture certain information for each donor, and setting a cap for how much can be donated for individuals and couples. We were able to do this with the Stripe platform.

Candidate had a press kit, campaign materials and books available for PDF download from his site. We implemented easy downloads by using Download Monitor.

We maintained and assisted in ghost-writing for the campaign blog with our content writing services. Have an updated blog was necessary to keep voters informed of daily news events.
Feature: Platform Built-In Blog
Much like the news blog, the sites needed platform categories with corresponding issue pages that would allow voters to easily navigate the candidates political platform and learn more about his stances. We also assisted on ghost-writing for these issue pages.
